Express Media looking for arts reviewers

Buzzcuts, now in its 14th year, is a program that trains young writers and broadcasters in critical arts reviewing. The program is supported by the Melbourne Fringe Festival, 3RRR, SYN, Beat Magazine and RMIT. According to their website:

Buzzcuts gives successful applicants the chance to see several Melbourne Fringe Festival shows of their choice, write reviews and see them published on the Buzzcuts website. The best reviews will be published weekly throughout the Melbourne Fringe Festival in Beat Magazine. Participants will also be trained in writing critical arts reviews at a free workshop.

Buzzcuts is open to writers aged between 18-25, who are expected to attend two shows during the Melbourne Fringe Festival and produce accompanying reviews.

Applications close 23rd August.
