Passengers is a short story by Amelia Streets.
Amelia Street loves reading and hiking which complement each other very nicely. She also
enjoys socialising, which fits in a little less well. She is in her third year of a Science/ Arts degree
and the highlight so far has been coordinating the publication of UNSWeetened UNSW’s
creative writing journal. Other than the right that provided, giving her the freedom to stick in her
own “Foreword”, she has never really had her work published. “Passengers” was inspired by
shadowing a renal specialist at Concord and a friend’s experience with renal failure.
